Philadelphia - Frantz Massenat scored 20 points and had 10 assists, but Delaware jumped out to an early lead and defeated Drexel, 90-77. The Blue Hens (13-7, 5-0 CAA) stayed unbeaten in Colonial Athletic Association play, while Drexel fell to 10-8 and 2-3 in the CAA. Delaware had five players score in double figure as it won for the seventh straight time.<br />

For the second straight game, the Dragons' opponent came out fast right away. The Blue Hens made 15 of their first 21 shots and opened up an early eight-point lead. They didn't slow down and went on 13-3 run to take a 16-point lead with 1:57 left after a Devon Saddler jumper. Delaware led at the half, 48-32, and finished the frame shooting 59 percent. Davon Usher led the Hens with 12 first-half points.<br />

Drexel opened the second half with a 10-2 run to make the game interesting at 50-42. However, the Hens' offensive attack was too much to overcome. A 9-0 Delaware run gave the Hens an 18-point lead midway through the second half. Drexel was able to cut the lead to 10 points late when a Major Canady three-pointer made it 82-72, but that was as close as it would get down the stretch.<br />

Frantz Massenat led the Dragons with 20 points and a season-high 10 assists. It was his second double-double of the season, the first with points and assists. The senior was 7-for-13 from the floor. Tavon Allen made his first appearance since being injured in the Northeastern game. Allen scored 15 of his 19 points in the second half and drained five three-pointers in seven attempts. Chris Fouch added 18 points and moved into eighth place on Drexel's career scoring list. He now has 1,521 career points.<br />

Saddler led the Blue Hens with 23 points and eight rebounds. He also handed out seven assists. Jarvis Threatt finished with 18 points, nine assists and three steals, while Marvin King-Davis added 15, Usher 12 and Carl Baptiste 10. The Blue Hens shot 57 percent in the game and outrebounded Drexel, 44-27.
